Whatchoo listening tooooo?

Happy Headphones!

Recently re-discovered the Last.fm site. You can create a user account (free), download a free plugin, install, fire up your music player of choice, and insta-matically start updating the Last.fm service with your listening statistics – last track played, artist most played, etc. Why would you want to do this? Because it’s a theme social networking site. Kind of like Flickr for music. The point is to get your friends signed up and then create your own little community where you can see what’s on other people’s iTunes (or Winamp, WMP, etc.). Kind of fun in that I’m-chained-to-this-computer-anyway-I-might-as-well-check-useless- but-entertaining-websites way.

Of course, it’s also a way for you to discover new music (they give you recommendations) and meet new people. Eh, if you listen to music on your computer anyway, it’s worth a spin to have something interesting to look at other than your work, ya know? CW, you should totally do it – you’re an iTunes at work addict!
