Singing Its Praises

Tired of the regular radio stations or your mp3 playlist…well, try newly transformed Windy 100.3 FM in Chicago, renamed K-Love. It was launched a couple weeks ago and I’m listening to US99 less and K-Love more. It’s been a few years since I could regularly hear The Fifth Dimension, Dionne Warwick, Celine Dion, lesser-heard songs by Carly Simon like ‘The Right Thing to Do’, Bread, Stevie Wonder, LuLu (of ‘To Sir, With Love’ fame), Hall & Oates, Elton John, Barbra Streisand and Minnie Riperton all on the same station! Need I say more?

What?!?!? Are you still skeptical? Check out the music log for yourself…when you don’t want NPR playing at work, this is a great option to the tired ‘Hits of 60s, 70s and 80s’.

I love 100.3! And I have to admit, John Symons gives Delilah a run for her long-distance dedication money.
