Back to Life, Back to Reality

mich fest

So, it’s been brought to my attention by a loyal reader that Mirandala.org has been a little slow lately. Perhaps, loyal reader, perhaps. The staff certainly did enjoy the blog-stylings of Betsy during her two-week run here (and we’re looking forward to her Michigan post in the next week or so), so it’s possible that we slacked off a bit. Then we were busy spending time with the Indigo Girls. And no sooner did we return from sunny Colorado, but it was time to pack a small household of clothing, furniture, and sundries into the CRV for the long haul to the Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival.

Seriously, people. We’ve been busy. Especially this past week. I mean, what with the concerts, the freezing, the burning, the group showering, the endless gastrointestinal processing of the Three Bean Salad, and the general accumulation of multiple layers of filth, there hasn’t been much time for blogging. Not to mention the whole being in the middle of West Bumf*ck, Michigan where there is no communication with the outside world, much less high-speed internet service.

Still, now that we’re back and clean and no longer having to go to sleep while wearing fleece hats, rest assured that we will push through the PTSD to take care of your needs with photos and stories from our recent woodsy adventure, so have patience, gentle reader.
