Step Up in a Doubles Match to E and Ack and It’s Over – You Get Served Like an Ace from Martina Navratilova

Ooh la la. And now a Mirandala.org Sports Update: Just in case you didn’t know, this is week one of the French Open. Already, there’s chaos on the courts. Andre Agassi lost to Jerome Haehnel in a first-round upset. Justine Henin-Hardenne (last year’s winner) did manage to survive her first-round match against Sandrine Testud. But Henin-Hardenne has been sick the last couple of months with a viral something-or-other. Serena Williams had knee surgery last year and hasn’t been playing tennis much this year. Kim Clijsters has already withdrawn from competition with an injured wrist. And, look out, girls – Martina’s back. In other words? Everything’s still up for grabs.

One woman to watch: Am&#233lie Mauresmo. She reached the quarter-finals of the French Open last year, she’s seeded no. 3 this year, and she’s already survived her first-round match with Ludmila Cervanova. Mauresmo won, 6-3, 6-3.

Update: Martina’s out.
