Here’s Your One Chance, Fancy, Don’t Let Me Down

Report on Indigopalooza II: Excellent time at the Hideout. I think we sounded pretty good – nice vocals, good guitars, fabulous drums – and it was especially good to hear that we have improved since our debut performance last Spring. Not that we’ll be headlining the United Center just yet, but at least now we all have some good stories to tell about the days when we “used to play in the bars.” Behind the Music, here we come.

Rockin’ set by Sweet Hello, too! Look for their CD release early next year.

Also – Thanks to all my good drinking buddies who helped finish out the evening/morning at Carol’s Pub, home of Chicago’s best country jukebox. Somehow, we managed to stay there until 3am – even outlasting a couple of Carol’s regular patrons. Ah. Good times.

And let us not forget Mirandala’s own inspired performance on the bass. Here’s hoping that both Mirandala and Courtney continue on with music so that those of us who saw their early performances can say we knew them before they hit the big time.

Thanks, Brandawg! And thanks for your expert camerawork during the show! Can’t wait for that bonus track on the DVD…

I got to relive some Reba moments the next day….Reba was on the Ellen show. Strange things happened the whole 10 minutes I stayed after you guys left….not with me and the Irish dudes, but there was some three-way smooching going on down at the other end of the bar. Great show on Wed….you guys have come a long way.

Yikes! I don’t even want to think about which attractive characters were involved in that three-way smooch…

    Carol’s is the best!
