Just a few quick photos from this weekend’s activities. No festivals this time – the staff of Mirandala.org was busy packing. Courtney, for her family trip to the UK – me, for my move to a new apartment (the landlady lives upstairs – and looks like she will be an endless source of interesting stories and encounters). Things here are busy busy busy, but never fear, blogging will continue – if only to prove that no one finds our lives as fascinating as we do…
Lest you think that our festival-less weekend was boring and lackadaisical – between the two of us we still managed to pack half an apartment, entertain guests, run with a marathon training group, run errands to the grocery store and the hardware store, remove any number of plastic anchors from plaster walls and spackle over the holes, deliver some large, framed items to the new apartment, visit with Meg & Mary (and Norma Jean (click here for a view of Norma as Pippi Longstocking) and Tooshay (Touch??)) and enjoy a little BBQ at their block party, pack some more, and drive to O’Hare-port and back. Whew. It’s a shame that I’ve already packed the liquor…
Anyway, all this is to say that, busy as we are, we remain dedicated to the blogging experience. Be sure to come back all this week to hear about Courtney’s adventures in London!

Omigod.
My *mother’s* name is Norma Jean. Those pictures made laugh so hard that milk came out of my nose and I wasn’t even DRINKING milk.
I adore Norma Jean, although she (and the noises she makes) is sometimes more porcine than canine…
I truly wish I was as snappy a dresser as Norma Jean. Sadly I have succumbed to the uniform idea and am down to two basic pairs of all-purpose lesbian shorts and various boring t-shirts.
“All-Purpose Lesbian Shorts” – sounds like a film-festival in the making…
TuShay, that is. That is probably the cutest photo of NJ in costume yet, with the pippi wig! She is always ready for more photo ops, she loves that camera! By and by, what are lesbian shorts, (would that be flannel)? And thanks for rescuing me from drucken Gail -NOT!!!!!
