Hey Kind Friend

Here's Miranda in 1991 outside the President's Room at Bryn Mawr...and who says Bryn Mawr isn't a party school?!?!?

A big shout-out to Mirandala—IT’S HER BIRTHDAY!!!

That’s right, the founder and president of this site is turning….well…you can check out the about page to see how old she is…

Happy Birthday (ow!) to (ow!) me! ow…

Thanks to Courtney, Meg, LD, Betsy, Jen E. and Jen Mc. for helping me to ring in this, my (sigh) 33rd year, with electronic darts, cold Freedom Fries, and too much Bass and Jack…ouch…ouch…not. getting. younger…

As an aside… I still have that shirt. But thankfully not those glasses. And we won’t even get into the ponytail-hairstyle…

Actually (and I’m only saying this because this will be me in a couple weeks) we rang in the beginning of your 34th year…my dad is quick to mention this fact at each birthday…you just completed your 33rd year.

My dad has a lot of those logical comments, like when Kelly or I would complain ‘she got the bigger half (of a sandwich)’, he would say ‘mathematically, there is no such thing as the bigger half, it’s either 50% or it isn’t’.

    Back to work…Happy Birthday, Mandy!

The telemarketing gods would not let me sleep in today. My smiley face is tired.
I think we should dig out old college clothes and wear them out to Carol’s one night….my my wouldn’t that be fabu?
Don’t worry Courtney, we’ll party hearty all night for you too!

my favorite sort of comment seems to be the shout-out, so i would like to send a birthday shout-out to you, mirandala. in addition, in honor of your birthday, i’m would like to dedicate my run tomorrow to you, which is quite an honor considering i will probably spend appx. 3 1/2 hours running a 5K, and i’ll be thinking of you the whole time! happy birthday!

Jen: I’m so honored that I promise to drink my next birthday beer in tribute to your 5k (what, you thought this morning’s unfortunate hangover would make me a teetotaler? hah!). With each frosty sip I will think of you.

    Kris: Thanks!

Belated happy b-day, girl! I’m glad to hear you survived the happymaking. And on a school night. Gah.

Happy Birthday Miranda! Birthdays over the weekend are always fun. Have fun at the concert. I still have an old Georgetown sweatshirt from high school and my old H.S. basketball sweats, which I just recently cut off the elastic bottoms (a suggestion from Cat, to make them less dorky). I feel much cooler when I wear them now.
